Before Fulfilpackers, the founder was fulfilling every order from home, alongside actually running the business. The two jobs were competing for the same hours, and only one of them was ever going to lose.
The car boot, the kitchen table, and no such thing as a day off.
Every order went out from home. There was no casual hire, no spare room set up as a dispatch station — just the founder, doing fulfilment on top of everything else running the business actually needed.
"We were fulfilling orders at home ourselves. I wish we were spending that time working on our business, instead of working in the business."
— Founder, Magnetic Craft"It was quite stressful when the business is so dependent on us. That meant no sick leave, no rest, and working on Sundays."
— Founder, Magnetic CraftMost founders can point to a single moment that made the decision obvious. For Magnetic Craft, it was a full car, a fallen pack, and an order that never made it out the door.
"The day that the car was full and one of the packs had fallen between the seats, and gone missing, was the day I realised this is now out of control."
— Founder, Magnetic CraftTreated like a partner, not an order count.
Handing over fulfilment for the first time comes with an obvious question: will this partner treat the brand and the customers the way the founder would?
"Do they care about my business and my clients? Will they cause damage to my brand?"
— Founder, Magnetic CraftWhat set Fulfilpackers apart wasn't a sales pitch. It was being treated like a real business relationship, in a category where many providers only seem to care about volume.
"Genuine approach. They were real, and they were treating us as a VIP compared with other fulfilment centres who just cared about how many orders per day we could offer them."
— Founder, Magnetic CraftNo order too big. No issue too complicated.
Onboarding wasn't just a systems handover. It was steady reassurance that whatever Magnetic Craft brought to the table, the team could handle it.
"It was constant assuring that no order is too big and no issue is too complicated. Terry was keeping us calm."
— Founder, Magnetic CraftGetting packaging presentation right took a bit of back and forth, which the founder was upfront about.
"It was a journey, but we finally got there."
— Founder, Magnetic CraftWhen something has gone wrong, the response is what's stuck with the founder most — not the absence of issues, but the accountability when they happen.
"Fulfilpackers always stepped in as accountable and helpful. Always there for us."

From 30 hours a week to zero — and travelling with no fulfilment stress.
Before switching, fulfilment was costing 30 hours a week — hours that came directly out of time meant for growing the business, not just running it. Now confirmed at zero, with the founder travelling and completely free of fulfilment stress.
"I am travelling at the moment with no stress of fulfilment."
— Founder, Magnetic Craft"Growing a small business takes every spare second you have, and it needs 100% of your attention. So the more time you can give it, the more it adds to the growth."
— Founder, Magnetic CraftWhat the founder would tell someone still doing it themselves.
Asked what advice they'd give a founder still packing every order at home, telling themselves it'll be fine, the answer was direct.
"It's good to know how it works, but as soon as a fulfilment centre is happy to take over, let them. A lot of fulfilment centres have a minimum daily order, but don't be afraid to reach out to them. Fulfilpackers is the best example. Do it sooner. Don't be afraid to ask if they can onboard you even with 3–5 orders a day."

I used to spend 30 hours a week on fulfilment. Now I spend that time on reaching other markets and having time for my family. The difference is a much better father, husband, and businessman.
